Error: Figures entered cannot exceed Year 11 Pupils on roll on last years CES return

Very rarely this error message is generated erroneously when saving or creating and validating a census:

Figures entered cannot exceed Year 11 Pupils on roll on last years CES return.

To prevent this message appearing please follow these steps:

1. Ensure you are running the latest version of SIMS
2. Ensure you have the latest fileset
3. Run the most recent consolidated patch
4. Run Tools->System Diagnostics->Database Diagnostics
5. Run Tools->Validate Memberships

The SIMS version number, fileset and consolidated patch number are revised frequently. You may therefore need assistance from your SIMS helpdesk with steps 1 to 3.
