SIMS crashes when I press 'Create & Validate'.

If SIMS crashes when you press Create and Validate there are three likely solutions:

1. Run 'Tools->Validate Memberships' (this is the most common solution)
2. Import the latest fileset
3. Change the CES Census Folder (http://www.cescensus.org.uk/sims/folder.html).

If you still cannot create your census, please contact the CES helpdesk.
